After the air is compressed, a separator allows air to pass through to your holding tanks or compressed air network, while the oil is retained in the separator, returned to the oil filter, and reintroduced into your air compressor.
Our separators are designed to operate in the worst of conditions, so you can rest assured that your air will remain clean. When your compressor demonstrates a pressure drop of 7-10 PSI, you should change your separator. Otherwise, you should change it every 4000 hours.
